I dig it.

I'm really excited about what I see here; however, may I make a few suggestions?

First: Ruminator and Dragonrider are 100% correct that Aikido is purely defensive. It should resemble Crane Style in terms of stats.

Second: The gun cliche rules seem a bit clumsy. May I suggest the following: Instead of being reduced to one cliche die, why not just state that the Tools of the Trade rule applies as normal due to gun malfunction or out of ammo, and reduces the cliche to half-dice for melee actions using the weapon, and no shooting allowed. (I imagine that your non-Martial Arts cliche rule would come into play as well, giving opponents crazy bonuses.) This would make use of existing game mechanics as much as possible, which IMHO is always the best way to go. One more thing. Instead of adding a seperate die roll to determine malfunction, which could complicate and slow down the action, why not say that if half or more of the dice rolled for a gun cliche come up 1's, the gun malfunctions/runs out of ammo. This way the more skilled you are, the less it happens, and you don't have to make that extra roll, because it's built-in. You could still scale it up by saying that each successive roll increases the number rolled. (ie on the 2nd shot, a gun would malfunction if rolling half or more 1's and 2's combined, etc...)

Third: No Krav Maga? Show some love ;) (Krav Maga O-3, D-2, T-1)

I fixed Aikido, so that looks better.

As for guns, I was planning on not having them in the world at all. I put them in just enough that they can be useful, but you wouldn't want to use them more than 2 turns in a row. Of course, if you want to do it your way, more power to you.

As for Krav Maga - I love the art, but I wanted to keep the whole martial arts list to 15 styles. It's certainly a good one, which is why I added the addendum saying you can use any martial art you come up with.

Thank you for all your insight

Dan
