Hey crazy people reading online profiles! I am an avid roleplayer and rules-tinkerer. I am interested in Risus, HeroQuest (the Issaries roleplaying game), Tri-Stat by Guardians of Order (even though they are now gone), FUDGE, FATE, PDQ, Everway, and Runequest. And really anything else fun. I wish I could play more than once every six weeks, but that is what being grown up does to you.
I see Risus, Fudge, Fate, and HeroQuest as similar in many ways, and as differing Aspects of the same trend in tabletop RPGs. They seem to have the same type of mechanic, in varying levels of "crunchiness". What do you think?
